My school is closing. I have been teaching there for 5 years but the cupboards are filled with stuf going back decades. We could have opened a science museum, I am not joking. In one of the cupboards we have this. It a weber and the prots where the throttle plates are are 30mm in I.D. ![](http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee297/bm0p700f/P1010003.jpg) ![](http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee297/bm0p700f/P1010002.jpg) ![](http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee297/bm0p700f/P1010001.jpg) What car(s) is it for?

It's probably a Weber TMDL (usually ford fitting) or DMTL (VW, GM, Misc etc) twin choke. It should say near the mounting face embossed in the side. You can get (or even make) adaptor plates to fit various engines. Nice, reliable aftermarket upgrade ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

28/30 DTFM 2A is stamped where you described.
As you said a google search says it is used on Ford CVH engines.
Shame I don't own a small carbed engine.

It might also be suitable for the 1600 Pinto 'E-max' engine. That had a 28/30 Weber, can't remember which model though.

Will bolt onto rear engined Skoda manifold if you open up the ports to allow both barrels to fully opening without touching.
