That interior is certainly a bit Max Power!
Nice car though.
Just imagine having a classic 911 of your very own that you could work on whenever you want.
Dreams.
Old 911s, they're nothing but trouble...
BMW progresses good to watch, mostly on a thank god it’s not me basis!
Still enjoying the journey anyhow.

I wish it wasn't me too, when it is this cold.
Amazing progress as usual. I haven't done a good job on keeping up however, so what is the plan for underneath?
Once there is no more rust and it has got plenty of epoxy on there I will be applying some type of stonechip protection.
I am undecided as to which one as yet, do you have any suggestions?
I hope your collective parents are doing ok too, not an easy task. As has been iterated by others, make sure you are looking after yourselves too; you cannot make good decisions on behalf of others if you are exhausted and hungry.

Thanks, I think they are doing as well as could be expected.
Exhausted sometimes, not usually hungry.

eeerrrmmm you might want to rethink that last comment 🤣
I didn't eat it all to myself!
Yesterday on the radio there was a 'yellow snow warning' issued so I was not shocked when it did snow.
However, I was shocked that they had to issue a warning because I thought that everyone knows not to eat yellow snow.
There was still a little snow on the ground when I got home but it was mostly the correct colour.
It did mean that it was very cold.
With this in mind, I thought that it was probably best if I didn't lay on the floor under a car.
The topside of that floor does need painting though, so I thought that would be something I could look at and I wouldn't need to lay on the ground.
Firstly, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to paint in these temperatures so I had to do something about that.
I found an electric fan heater hidden under the Doc's desk in the study so that is now inside the car.
I hope she doesn't notice that it is missing.
With the heater going I gave it a good vacuuming out to see what needed doing in preparation.
On the rear seat heel panel there are the remains of the sound deadening tar board that I had to cut back when I did some repairs.
I had left it like that because originally I was going to just replace the removed section but when I did the other side I changed my mind and replaced the lot.
I got out the heat gun and started removing it.
That was the easy bit.
Removing the remains was much harder.
I can't remember what I used before but it didn't really want to come off.
I used some thinners in the end.
I also started to give it all a bit of a sanding down and then applied some spooge where I went through to the metal.
That was it, my top half was reasonably warm but my feet were frozen.
Cheers.
