that will look fantastic, but has its drawbacks. 5 inches out of my benz. first one you'll notice is speed humps. also i have to plan how i get to places round the town, cant get it down some roads without grounding. getting into some carparks is a mare, especially multi storey ones, and on one occasion i had to get out of the passenger side, when id put the drivers side next to the kerb, cos i couldnt open the door. so in summary, i say
dooooooooooooooooo it. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Looks like a Corvette to me - and an early one for that shape too...a '68 or '69?
The Rewinds look spot on by the way Charlie!

Those look great. Rewinds are the business and cheap too. I had some 7x14's and they were under £300 including airmail from the States. Didn't realise the 15's were zero offset. The 14's are something like -9 and look pretty fat. -Ed £300? is thet a 'normal' price or a mega bargain? Any suggestions for a supplier?

Thanks all for the kind words. The car on the right is a 68 Corvette. It as been stripped of everything except two bucket seats. It is a tuned small block fourspeed car but was originally a big block. Most opf the car is hanging up in the garage around it - all the interior, hydraulic stuff, panels, interior, etc. It is stripped, tuned and frighteningly fast. And for sale. I have an MOT booked next Tuesday for both the Datsun and the Corvette. Then I will tax the Corvette, photograph it and it's going up on Ebay.
The Rewinds were $525 - 15 X 7. Bought in California, sent to New York, collected from a hotel by my colleague and brought back to the UK. They're made in Taiwan I think so it should be cheapest to ship them from there.

£300? is thet a 'normal' price or a mega bargain? Any suggestions for a supplier? I got them from Techno toy tuning, same guy who's selling them on ebay. A set of four 14" ones on his site were $325. The offset on the 14's means they might not fit under the arches on a few cars. On my 1200 coupe they stuck out a little on the front. Damn good rims for the money though. -Ed
