One of the last mk3's to be made and for a mk3 its in great condition!
Was a contract/company car first of all, then bought by a traffic officer (and then to his son). The separate service history paperwork has long been lost but we can certainly tell it's been looked after, I have no doubt about that.
In very good condition for year, has some rust in a couple of places and a small dent next to front light (see pic - doesn't look as bad in real life) aerial snapped off (see rear pic) but other than that its a very nice looking car. Not been messed with.
The interior is in really good condition too.
ABS light comes on sometimes, don't know what this means or why?!
Makes a noise when reversing. Doesn't slip in to 1st/2nd nicely although doesn't pop out of gears.
Hesitates slightly when accelerating, again, I've researched in to it but haven't changed a thing yet.
I would welcome any viewings, have a good look around the car and you can make your own mind up about it. As Mk3 golfs go this is a nice car, I love the colour and it's been a pleasure to own and I've enjoyed driving it.
The golf is getting nowhere near enough use so it has to go.
