I really don't know what I want exactly so will leave this thread running and see what pops up.
I've been browsing this forum for a year or more now, a friend pointed me to it and I have a love for old cars, late 70s and 80s, having owned around a dozen mk2 Cavvies in my time and a host of other including Mk3 Escorts and Mk1,2 Astra's.
I would like a Retro Ride, possibly:
Cavalier Mk1
Cavalier Mk2
Mercedes W123 Diesel
Other Vauxhall/Opels
Other Random Cars?
I have upto £1500 cash
Would prefer something cheap to run, cheapish parts (no idea what parts cost for the above cars), totally no idea about buying Retro cars other than what i've read/seen here.
Would also like to be pointed in the direction of where to insure once I have it.
I'm based way down South around the M5 Exeter to Bristol Area.
