Model: Carlton estate Year: 1982 Mileage:235k Tax: no MOT: no Location: dorset Price: 225ono Contact details: pm on here.. Ok, so here's Mr hanky. He's an 82 Carlton in mocha brown. One owner from new!! Comes with massive folder of history, he has been pretty pampered until recent times as his owner became to old to care for him. He was bought as a project with the intention of welding him up and fitting him with a mad turbo engine,being rwd already we were excited! Unfortunately, with 15 other projects and to many customers cars to do he has to go  Condition wise, for a vauxhall of 30 years old he's pretty good!!! Rust is obviously an issue,with welding being needed around the front strut tops being the worst, but lots more needed in less essential areas. Mr hanky is fitted with a 1.8 rwd engine, which we have had running, but needs the carb sorting and a good service if its staying. Brakes are shot, think the lines are gone as the fluid has all disappeared since being towed to us! Interior is in a matching brown, with everything inside including the cassette radio, workings as it should.            So in conclusion, a bit of a project, but far far to good and rare to scrap. I really want him to go to a good home. |

What a lovely colour, I miss seeing that off-pastel brown/green/blue/yellow coloured cars that were common on the road in the 70's/80's. |

Argh. I got outbid on ebay last time, I'd love one of these - had one a year older, best car I ever had! Really needs a good home but if you have to scrap it I'll give you what the scrap man will give!
