Can anyone recommend me a good Ford breakers yard, preferably in the East Anglia area. The sort of place that might sell complete engines and gearboxes. I'm talking Ford Sierra and Zetec parts specifically... Cheers, Olson

I would have thought most decent breakers yards would have zetec engined ford in them, you cant move for tripping over modeos over here. There's still a lot of Siera's in the knackers yards as well.
Shot in the dark but are you after a 1800 cvh box and zetec engine.

Theres a good one near me in basildon called Only Fords and Horses. He does a lot of stuff on ebay and has a mail order service. I'll try and find his number for you. Or try google cos he's probably got a web site.

I'd recommend Tendring Ford Spares, I've had many a Sierra diff from them! No quibbles over changing worn driveshafts, even after seeing the camber on my rear wheels. Some of the late model stuff can be a tad dear though. Seems to be the case everywhere now - or I may just be a tightarse ;D
There's a guy who sells on Ebay (called "Donorspares") who's based near Ipswich, he breaks loads of Sierras and Zetec Escorts / Mondeos etc. Bought a 100E shell off him, seemed friendly enough but watch out for the f*****g traveller neighbours (as seen in Deliverance).
