Hi!
I had to post this... I absolutely adore this Simca 1200 S Bertone Coupé build by Hans Exner. It's build to compete in Group H, to race in hillclimbs or slalom competitions. And it's a winning car, he rarely takes 2nd place.
The engine is from a Simca Rally 3 overbored to 1298cc (1300cc class limit) and pushes 124BHP. It's first evolution featured a Golf 1 GTI cylinder head, unfortunately I was unable to find out which head it is now. The gearbox is a Hewland 5 speed with Formula origins. It had to be turned 180° as the engine rotates counter-clockwise. Weight: aproximately 740kg.

Second vid is in german. Short summary: Previous record holder on the short track was a NSU TT, Exner beat it with the Simca (unexpected by himself). Overbored 1298cc Simca engine pushing 124BHP, upside-down gearbox to make it work with the Simca engine. Lightened as far as possible. It's fast. ;D
