As some of you may know, I own a 60s race Mini and back in the day it run with a 48 IDA. I'd like to try and get it back to original spec, do the lairy Beetle lumps use IDAs?
If so, do they come up for sale often?
Cheers

Single ones are relatively common on ebay - search in Spain, Italy and Germany as well. They aren't that cheap though and prices fluctuate wildly. The guide price used to be 800 quid for a nice pair, but I've known people pay as little as 300 and as much as 1500!!

Cheers people. I'll keep an eye out on here too. Norman: this is an IDA, the two trumpets stick out the bonnet. Very rude indeed...

Round of applause for the first person that can supply a photo of Dave Vizard's red Mini at Harewood? hillclimb complete with side exit exhaust and polished IDA trumpets.
