Good points - averageswell over 40mpg - I get approx 90 Miles to £10 @ £1.25.9 think thats around the 45mpg mark.
I bought this car as a stop gap before christmas and its done me proud. Time to move on to something else.
Car is not withouts its faults:
A distraction being timing chain rattle. This is not a problem as have reaearched on Briskoda and the general concensus is change it or leave it it matters not.
Electric windows go down nice and smooth however are slow to go up.
Small crack to rear offside bumper
One of the rubber straps that support the rear parcel shelf when its lifted has snapped.
Have two sets of keys.

Not that I am interested in buying, but for possible owners reference : A distraction being timing chain rattle. This is not a problem as have reaearched on Briskoda and the general concensus is change it or leave it it matters not.This is a well known sound on these engines and make no difference to its performance survivability fuel consumption, its the adjuster wearing and as said not worth worrying about. Had me one of these a few years back (great car) and would sit at 80 mph all day long with several engines in the boot and still do 40mpg + easy... Frankly if its not making noise i would be more worried!!! Only sold it because i couldn't stand the rib digging over the fact it was faded red and looked more PINK than red  |
