Description:
Right, need this gone. Motor is knackered, spun a bearing, snapped a valve, bent a rod, not sure. I was tempted to get another engine and get it back on the road as it's still got a fair amount of test on it but I got the rover instead as I needed to get to work. It's an early mk2 with 50/50 split rear seats and the apparently sought after arches that don't join up to the side trim. It's pretty much stock apart from PhilJ rear dampers/springs, fronts have 3 coils chopped off. Before it went pop I put new ign leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, contact set and coil on it. It's also got a BRAND new fuel tank which was £80ish alone. I'll leave these on. Exhaust has been chopped about into a twin side exit.
It'll be rolling on the standard steels with toasted tyres (if you want the BBS RA's as in the last pic with pretty new budgets and custom length bolts, add £140)
Interior is a bit rubbish, wear on the drivers seat (normal for mk2/2F polos) and as its been stood for a while the seat belts and steering wheel etc are a bit furry, will clean up fine though. Drivers side door and quarter panel are a bit scabby, not too bad though, surface rust really.
I would have broken this, but I don't have the space, it's cold, I'm lazy blah blah Needs to be gone as soon as really as I'm getting hassle about it taking up a space on the drive. Obviously it'll need to be towed or trailed away.
Any questions, fire away.
These are fun little cars even with 45.7bhp (dyno proven ) heres a little vid I made a while back
Location: North Bristol, BS35
Price: £90
