i wanted to get my dash flocked for a while, so i got a kit from www.frost.co.uk and had a go myself. did one of the heater vent panels last night as a test looks pretty good i think. best bit is, its an absolute piece of curse word to do. :-D

I thought you could only get flocking in tasteful colours like pink and bright green!

Nice, got to admit its something I have considered myself before. How hard was it, and how long did that take

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

i thought it was something to do with sheep how much was the kit and how much dash will it cover? I've got my bargain T3 dashtop, but it still has a small sun crack in it so i reckon flocking is the answer.

Mate of mine just bought a machine to do this - cost him £300+delivery.
I've seen the finish though and it's amazing.

haha.
it seriously easy. just put this glue on, then "puff" the flock on. the kit cost me £20.95 and covers 1sq metre.
i discovered it works better if the puffer is pointing directly at the surface, so the flock hits it square on. then you just leave it for 24hrs for the advesive to go off and your good to go.

is flocking like on the WRC dashs? they always have a funny fluffly finish.
looks cool; might be the answer to the kittens dash.
