If you try bolting Cali body bits to the manta, i will have to get out in my garage and get my stick. Then order a planeticket to england. don't do drugs ;D The manta is not a car to bolt heaps of plastic onto Oh, and as i see it, the car atleast needs a smacking with "the stick", thats some real offroad material right there ;D Grats on a nice ride, and i hope you wont Max Powerturd it

Nice one Impish. My advice would be to get some miles under those wheels before you take important bits like engines out - especially if its your first "proper" car. That kind of thing tends to make driving it (and having fun in it) a heck of a lot more difficult especially if it's running OK at the moment. Run it for the summer then think about playing with it in other, more naughty, ways

I do concur that attempting to put the Calibra engine in straight away would be a bit daft.
Best course of action will be to remove it and stash it away for fitting next winter & have some fun with the 1800 for a bit. And please, please remove any thoughts of putting plastc on your lovely new steed. Otherwise I will come round and chop your fingers off.
It may be worth liberating the leather interior and the wheels etc from the Calibra too, but only to punt them out for some easy money on eBay. The rest of it can be weighed in straight away!
