Purchased this earlier in the year and the only thing I have spent on it is £90 for a battery. It DOES need money spent on it before the MOT.Has covered just over 150k miles.
The main thing it needed when I got it were bushes or engine mounts.I didn't do these and it now has an oil leak from what I assume is the gearbox as a result. Also, despite seeming to be in ok condition, the exhaust snapped off from the back box and is currently held up with coat hangers - I also assume due to the engine moving.
You have to use a bit of clutch control on hills to not stall, so the engine mounts will definately need doing.
Straight in with the bad bits...
Exhaust held on at rear with coat hangers.
Oil leak from gearbox.

TAX expires end of January
MOT has a couple of months
Rev counter has a mind of its own
Blowers work fine, but will need a new filter behind the dash.I just chaned one on my Honda CRV and it blows out great now.
Evidence of brown water in engine bay.No idea how bad it is but I have covered 500 miles or so back to work and down the tip etc and it's been relatively ok.It also got me home 100 odd miles from where I got it with no problems
Usual tractor sounding engine of this era.
Interior mirror fell off.
Few dents and scratches but cleans up ok.
Not sure about temp gauge. It seems to move more when going up hills than it does on the flat but has never gone into the red.Saying that, I have never sat in mile after mile of traffic on a baking hot day in it either.I know nothing about diesels, if you do, come take a look!
Good bits..
Not many.It is what it is.It starts first time every time with the new battery. It has been covered in 2 feet of snow for over a month and it just fired up perfectly a few moments ago.
Leccy windows and mirrors
Tow bar (no idea if wire up etc, never looked)
Load cover in boot is still there.
Best power steering I have ever used
Actually drivers quite nice when on the move and interior is comfy
No wear on seats but has marks on dashboard from carrying wood (was used by a builder I believe)
Any question feel free to ask.I just want to cover my expense on the battery and the tax I put on it but I won't be spending any dosh on it.The car cost me £400 when I got it due to needing some work.
Feel free to come and have a look and a drive. If you like it, take it, if not, I will make you a cuppa and you can leave it!
Car is in Medway Kent area and you can email on here to sort something out if interested.I am back to work on the 4th, but can be around late Sunday or Monday if you were desperate. After that it is evenings or weekends.
Happy New Year!
