Here is my wifes lovely Alfa 147 1.6 twin spark, she has bought an estate car now as we have just got a dog.

The paintwork and the interior are in excellent condition and the car drives great, nice revvy 1600cc twin spark engine and 5 speed manual gearbox.
Since owning the car she had had some bits and pieces done to it,
replacement rear wiper motor
front exhaust flexi pipe replaced
new gear knob
oil and filter change
front nearside lower wishbone replaced
gearbox cabling lubricated (nice and smooth gear change now)
She has a lot of old receipts and service history, the previous owner had spent a lot of money on the cars upkeep over the years.
The car had a lot of engine work carried out when the cam belt broke, I have the receipt for the work, over £1100, the car has covered around 10000 miles since.
Overall this is a very nice clean car with very minimal wear for it's 9 years.
As with any used car there are faults, the air con is going to need topping up come summer and the exhaust back box doesn't look great, it's just cosmetic it's not blowing, front nearside top wishbone needs replacing as it has started knocking, it was an advisory on the last MOT, I have looked into it and the part is £70.00.
I could do with cashing the car in but miss having a retro since selling my MG Montego this year so maybe up for a swap/px, a cheap camper project would be very tempting but don't tell the wife.
