Reeepost.. but I'm still having no luck finding these bolt-on flares for the E10: Has anyone bumped into these, ever? Any idea where I could start looking? I even emailed the Cherry Club Japan for help but no luck. Saru, can you help?

Yep, this gets asked about every 2 to 3 months (even 'me' did one ) ;D ...but don't worry it's a good question to keep in our mind as there are a lot of members who would be interested if a cheep and easy source was found in Europe. They are in deferent sizes and applicable for different J models (mainly late 60'S, the 70'S and some 80'S) A lot of us on here also refer to them as 'Bozo' arches due to the fact Japanese 'Bosozuku' cars use them (and in different sizes...some of the larger sizes my friends and I refer to as 'The-full-on-Boso' ;D). As a side note people have kindly suggested/tried the following might do: Austin Mini 'special' BMW 2002 Turbo Ford Escort Mk1 'bubble' arches Ford Escort Mk2 'Works' arches don't BOTHER NONE OF THEM COME CLOSE Sory I cannot help, other than say if you find anywhere I might be interested

I remember seeing those threads some time ago. Pain in the buttocks trying to find a set that sits well. Starlet flares are ones to look out for too. I personally want flares with them screw-studs/-holes.. If I can get hold of set of E10 original spec'd flares I'm willing to take moulds for them and get them done in fiberglass for anyone interested.

If only a couple of members from this forum were going to go to Japan..... ................... I was thinking quietly by myself that you would raid the local Cherry clubs over there and bring a box of flares with you.. ;D These might fit E10 and others too. If I could only track the owner of that beauty..

Apparently the original E10 flares had part #'s 63862-m1420 and 63863-m1420..

Some for C210 please! If nothing else would help solve some rust issues. Though this pic suggests you can get something fairly meaty under the standard arches. While the full-on arches can probably be trimmed to fit pretty much anything, I imagine the smaller ones with exposed fittings would need to be bespoke if they were going to cope with different profiles, swage lines etc. Well, at least we'll see lots of inspiring photos - be sure to get some nice detail shots of how these work.

Fantastic find Stuy! Those Thailandish ones might just fit. I'll be measuring my arches tonight. EDIT: Here's a working link
