A few snapped over the summer. I've never been a Scooterboy although I do own a copy of Quadraphenia both the concept album and the movie (on DVD). These things kinda appeal to me. They bring back memories of mis-spent youth for various reasons. theres a massive difference between mods and scooterboys

Yeah, you could say that Slacker! To be fair though everyone seems to get on with each other at meets and rideouts and it's good to see a mix of mod/custom/standard scoots.

Bloody hell mate you won't like half the rideouts/shows I've been to this year then!
I really do want a Lambretta now, determined to get one this year even if it'll end up being a SIL one instead of the proper job.

My scooter club is open minded as well and everyone is welcome. Go get one Hinari; you won't regret it! My SX186 in Looe earlier this year...

Oh my days, that blue one is TEH SEX!!!1!!!1. To me that's pretty much exactly how I'd like one. Mirror, pipe and exhaust (especially exhaust) just look so right. My local club is the same Wafers, everyone very friendly and what not.
Hey, looking round on eBay it seems Vespa strokers are making a come back. There's a company advertising brand new PX125 new models (not LMLs) for about £2800 I think.

yep theres a new 125 and 150 on its way, realised the error they've made and how well LML have done over the last few years
personally i'd have an LML over a piaggio vespa now, build quality is 100% better

Even took it to the Isle of Wight rally. Went back a few years later on my previous Lambretta, ready to leave at the end of the rally and the scooter would not start for love nor money. Bump start down a hill in the end - the joys of Lammy ownership!

There's something about Lammys that make them more attractive, can't put my finger on it really though. They actually sound better to me too, hearing one on full chat is aweseome, they sort of sound like they mean business if that makes sense? I have given serious thought to a new LML (stroker obviously) as they're so cheap. Even by the time a 166 kit and a decent pipe have been added they're still good value. I quite fancy a pale blue one myself then try and get some art work done to it. And not 'target' stickers and 'Who' badges before you ask Slacker Would love to have a 'themed' scooter, have an artwork design (ish) in mind but air brushing seems quite expensive.

They are remarkably cheap for what they are considering they're new.
