hi all. a very reluctant sale, but here goes................... ive owned this car for about 6 months now, and ive done lots of changes to her, she came to me wanting nothing and she still is a perfect runner wanting NOTHING the mazda 323f is the top of the range GT model, and comes with the 140bhp 1.8 16v dohc engine. weighing in at just over a ton means a little pocket rocket. has no problem keeping up with 1.3 glanza turbo's.......... this engine revs all the way around to 7800rpm. comes with 5 months tax and mot till august. there was £340 worth of welding done and also was undersealed to pass for the last mot. I have owners manual, and log book, etc. have previous mot's back to 1998 there is only one thing wrong with it and that is that the central locking is a little iffy, but always locks, but you may have to unlock the passenger door manually. the car has 82k miles, with a fully stamped mazda service book all good history, a cam belt change at 73k. the last service in the service book was 73265 miles, and then I done a full service on the car at 81000miles, including all filters fuel, oil. etc. only done 500miles since. has electric windows all around, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, power steering. standard GT bucket seats. new exhaust fitted from the downpipe, this car doesnt have a CAT it has a decat pipe fitted as standard as it was registered before 1992 and therefore it doesnt need a cat to pass the mot. = more power. allthough this car came to me in completely standard form, I have moddified the car a little but I have kept all the standard parts, bonnet, air box, etc..... changes made are: club stickers down the sides. white led side lights mushroom filter & cold air intake custom exhaust painted rocker cover uprated red ht leads inside is standard. I am looking for a mazda mx5 mk1 (this is what I really want) but I would consider any car to swap if you have questions please message me, or email me: polarman051189@aol.com. I'd lose the bonnet, It looks awful, I remember seeing it on ebay back in the spring time, it was a right bargain then and a tidy motor as well.

I agree, i think that will put a lot of potential interested parties right off as (rightly or wrongly) it suggests the car is/has been owned by a 17yr old max power fetishist.

yea i agree, it has put ALOT of people off, i cant swap the bonnet back now as i have painted the healight covers and the front lip black. so if i put the original bonnet back on it will look ODD. anyway heres a few pics of work i have done all last week, i still am doing work on this and adding things to it all the time, as i cant leave a car alone for long. but i am bored with this 1 heres what the car looked like with the standard bonnet on, which i still have but there you go? also added a JDM style number plate, again i still have the original, but i like this 1. also added some decals to the bonnet, to let more people know I'm a boy racer. plus ive been told each sticker is good for another 3bhp.

Put the original bonnet back on, and find some headlight covers on eBay or a scrapyard.
You're not going to sell it with it looking like that.

exactly, it looks like i will be putting this back to standard, and yea i noticed the handling is bang on compared to other cars like this ive had.

I would put it back to standard, each mod you have done has knocked 10% off the value, and youve done about 10 mods!

Haters gunna hate!
I think it would be an idea to put the put the original bonnet back, purely to keep people quiet on here. My dad used to have a standard 323F like this when I was a kid, always hoped he would keep it for me when I could drive but he sold it.
Sadly it was shunted about 2 weeks after we sold it.

yea, i still got the original wheels. i plan on taking off the stickers this weekend anyway, so i will get more pics up with stickers off, so it would be less boy racer-ish for most of the older generation on here. people may be forgetting this car has been seriously looked after genuine mazda service history all the way upto 80k and its only done 81k now, its used everyday. never lets me down. cambelt change done recently. this car is also well know at club323f.com you will see all the work i have done with the engine etc.

There Mucho Hate on here, not at all constructive, A Modified car is all about taste, and will always be more difficult to shift than a standard one, End of the day if you don't like it, don't buy it! I'm not keen on thease even in standard trim, but thats caus a former Uni Tutor had one, Douche.... Good Luck with the sale Dude!
