I bought this off here a while ago but lack of time means i'm going to try to re-home it as it is. Mileage is 97k and the engine is a cracker. I bought it with a parped HG but I have replaced it, to a decent standard - all new gaskets, new stem seals, new headbolts, new cambelt, fresh blue coolant, fresh oil and so on. Now the engine runs beautifully and keeps a steady temp. Its an auto and has hand controls!!! You will probably want to whip these off I suppose, but they tell you it probably hasnt been ragged mercilessly by a serial cheap car buyer, and the cav is indeed in nice clean honest original condition throughout. Paint is 100% original and a really nice colour.
bad points: some crispy bits on the rear arches, but its a long way from needing new ones!!!! I think a straightforward clean off and repaint would work wonders.
One elec window does not work, theres a new winder mech in the boot though. I have not investigated whats going on with it. Charging light is on since i've done the HG but the alternator is charging OK, not sure what the crack is there, i will try and fettle that if I have time. Thast about it really.
It owes me £250, i've really got to get £225 back for it or I will feel like a tw@t so thats the price, no offers i'm afraid.
