2001 Passat TDI SE estate,
Indigo blue, factory fitted solar panel sunroof, electric window, electric mirrors, Climate control (works perfectly), PAS, ABS, front fogs.
MOT until august 2011,
Tax until end of Feb 2011,
176k from new but still runs perfectly (history up until 153k had cambelt at 147k), new sump fitted in June and new turbo in august.
Body coloured bumper mouldings,
smoothed front bumper,
polished roof rails with painted caps,
de-badged rear,
de-wipered rear window,
6k HID kit and LED sidelights,
Rokkor coilovers (bought march 2010 with 3year warranty),
8.5x18" genuine AMG monoblocks (polished) with 215/35 tyres,

Heated slate grey leather seats (stock doorcards),
Alpine cda-117ri head unit,
2x sets of Vibe slick 6.5" components,
Vibe slick A1 amp powering components,
Vibe slick A7 amp powering subs,
2x JL audio 12" subs in JL audio box,
Rear of car and door sound deadened with 40+ sq ft of silent coat.
solar sunroof (rare factory option).
Great workhorse of a car, comfortably returns 40+mpg on every journey, cheap tax (£155 a year).
Selling as i'm planning on going to play in the mud with a 4x4.
Price wise.. i'm looking for either £3500ono as is,
or £2700ono without the AMGs (you'll have to supply your own wheels), and without the audio (original head unit re-fitted but components will remain).

Well the MO clearly states that modern cars arnt evil  If you don't like it, think it shouldnt be on here or it's "not retro" then don't post, it'll soon drop. But I do like it, I love retro ect ect but also love modern stuff, I can find something to like about most cars, modded/standard/retro/modern, still like em. Besides, "retro" is just a timescale thing  you can't put a date on retro because it's different for everyone, but EVERYTHING will become retro sooner or later |

very true mr hunt, i don't mind seeing newer cars on here, were all petrol heads arnt we?? plus it sames having to bid against people on ebay. surely we could have a section for cars 1995 onwards...................

Retro actually means something modern deliberately made to look older, a good example would be the Nissan Figaro, personally, I actually prefer old not retro.

'The For Sale section is intended to be a place to buy and sell 'our' kind of cars. As a general rule, if it's later than 2000 don't expect it to stay on the board. There are exceptions if a car is interesting, rare or modified in a style the moderators approve of but those decisions are made by moderators and are not negotiable, sorry. It's not a power trip, it's not favouritism...the staff are unpaid and the board is free to use - there is no other motive than to make RR a cool place to find interesting cars'That was in the rules well before this ad was placed and applies to this car perfectly. Don't like the rules? Go somewhere else. |
