Hi there Guys! Thought it was about time I introduced my new ride! Yes it¡¦s a BMW! Before I get started I don¡¦t care if its retro not, its my car, and I like it so there ƒº lol So any way it¡¦s a 1994 E36 318is, ive fancied one of these for a little while (its on the list, now with a big tick next to it) I looked at one or two and decided on this one owner car with Full History. Its finished in Madeiraschwarz, (Purple) but more importantly it has a sexy purple leather interior!!! Have some pics from the Auto Trader AD! Its not really clear from the pics but although the car is really very clean, the rear arches were really rather crusty, and it had several scratches, so I got it in at the sprayers, some money changed hands, grinding, welding, painting, and polishing and it looks like this! New Paint Rank Wheels...... mmmmm Purple The Bay I also serviced it, well I ended up changing the oil twice, I bought an oilfilter from the local factors, as well as not fitting too well, it didn¡¦t come with a full set of O rings, so I bought this And changed the oil over again! Then I shopped for thease bits¡K Genuine M3 EVO front Bumper, with the splitter Fog Lights Full set of mouldings Thease bits are being painted and fitted as we speak! In adition to thease ive got a set of lowering springs off WhitbyTom on here (Cheers Man) and they will go on when the temperature is next above zero as I have to work outside! My next job is to change the exhaust, as its Fubared, and those rather rank wheels need to come off! Plans really are to make it mint, and sort of OEM+ I don¡¦t want to do an M3 Replica, I sort of want to make it an M-TECH 318is+ if that makes sense? Any way comments are welcome, oh and if anyone knows of any decent wheels (5X120) that are available, please give me a shout!

Sweet, I miss mine Airbag warning light on bm's is usualy the conector under the seat that is playing up. My old E46 did that every once in a while. If you changing the steering wheel and the light bothers you, pull the bulb lol.

Looks nice. Less is more with E36's. Too many people stick over-the-top bodykits and spoilers on and you lose the shape. Get some Engellman mirrors instead of M3 jobbies and lower it on some nice, polished BBS. Sorted.

Is it just a case of cleaning the under seat connector? Il have a ganders this weekend!
I'm hoping to get it dropped Saturday afternoon, just on springs for now, got the off WhitbyTom on here. I'm keeping it simple, i don't even like the factory boot spoilers and what not, i want the M3 Rear lights, what do those mirrors look like? I need some BBS, missed out on some by £2 on the ebay this weekend, they all either a million miles away, or a million quid! lol

Right, i have finally got round to putting the lowered springs I bought off WhitbyTom months ago on the car! (Cheers Man) I took the car to my mate Chappers for his assistance and to work in his garage (Cheers Dude!) You all know what its about, ive gone for springs over coilovers for several reasons, they were cheep, i don't want to go very low, and i want to keep it comfertable, its a Beemer after all! lol Any How, Before, During, New spring up front, we had a real pain stripping one of the gront struts, everything kept spinning, Stevie came to the rescue with his big vice and knocker Gun, every ho,me should have one, I reccomend cracking the strut top nut off bfore taking the struts off the car, but remember to put your spring compressors on before you take it all the way off! Finally in situe! The rear was simple! Undo the lower shocker mount, get a friend to pull the hub and lower arm down, and using a bar, and brute force (i reccomend having your weetabix) wrestle the spring out, the lowered one goes in a piece of cake! And its Done! The lowness is deffinatly more noticable on the rear, Il get some more photos up when the cars clean! Ive also just got a bargain set of wheels, so watch this space, they need tarting up and some tyres!
