Back in the 80s of of the local boy racers had a really nice 3 litre gt capri that had the rear end customised with the tail pipes coming out the rear of the body and some cool rear lights that I have only seen on a big J car but I cant remember what it was. Here is my (bad) artists impression as it shows there was a red band around the indicator that lit up and looked the nuts in the dark any ideas peeps??

transplanting CROWN and 260C rear lights into things used to be a bit of a fashion back in the day. I even remember a Bedford CF van with a set of 260C rear lights set vertically up the back of it.
After that there was a fad for customising using Mk2 Granada tail lights into whatever. One particular PHAIL was a local FD Victor which had this done. The CROWN or 260C lights would actually have worked on that.

Unless it's done really well,I'm really not keen on changing one manufacturers lights for another,it changes the cars identity too much.
I was originally searching for 260c 4 door rears as that's what i had in mind, but didn't really come up with much.
Can't be many more lights out there with an illuminated red ring around them??

itd driving me mad, as for the past 3 nights its kept me awake thinking about it! I'd love to know if it still exists 'cause I wanna own it Edit I don't think it had the illuminated ring all the way around, just around the indicator and it certainly didnt have the flashing brake lights like the 'yota's have.
