	De Trim it, cut the coils to lower, keep your eyes open for a set of Manta 5 spokes to paint Black or Golf G60 steels would look nice for an outlay of £120 ;D

	Bring it round mine... I have the technology! ;D Lop a couple of coils out, then have a rummage in my wheel stash. Reckon some 15x7 BBS cross-spokes (rwd offset, of course!) will be just the job.

	A few well placed period stickers never go amiss for a bit of added flavour and cost little. Do the springs and wheels first though

	1900sr... there's curse word all chance of him leaving it alone. Not when I'll be like an evil devil-thing perched there making unsubtle hints!!! Here's some Manta action c/o google image... OK, so they are mostly coupe's rather than hatches but you get the idea of what works and what doesn't.
