OK, a note in advance, my "haul" is nowhere near as good as everyone else's

Inspired by the recent spate of countryside find threads, I decided to go on my own expedition to find abandoned classics in the miles of countryside surrounding Loughborough, which is where I study. So, yesterday and some of today have been spent trawling round the various wooded wastelands surrounding the town. I haven't finished yet, there's more to explore, but I'm waiting til my Beetle is back on the road before I go further. Much quicker with wheels!
In an occupied house with an unkempt garden, I spotted a Mk2 Astra and an '85 Daihatsu Fourtrak rotting away in some grass.
The Astra is on the left, and you probably can't see the Daihatsu (It's on the right, for anyone who wants to try and spot it.)
Obviously I couldn't go in and have a closer look, as the house had someone in it. A shame really, cos in that same garden was this:
The Garage Of Mystery And Intrigue. Looks a bit delapidated, and if there's cars in the garden, I wonder what could be in here? Probably never find out, because the house is occupied and I'm not gonna go breaking into someone's garage, no matter how delapidated, to find out!
Then my camera's battery went flat, and I wasn't able to photograph the other find of the day - a 75 VW Bay Window Camper on a farmyard scrapheap, amidst old shipping containers and farm machines. Didn't look too bad either, complete with pop-top roof. Making enquiries .
Also, there was a boat on the pile, although why a Midlands farmer needs a boat is anyone's guess. Probably won it on Bullseye.
So sorry for the inadequacy of today's findings, hopefully there'll be more when I explore the rest of this place!
I'll finish with a pic of one more abandoned ride I found on a grass verge yesterday evening:
;D ;D ;D
