Seen a car on eBay, its not taxed, I wanted to check if it was MOTd as it isn;t specified. The official site requires the V5C reference number or last MOT to check history or current status.

if youve got a friendly mot tester then no , my dealer has done a few for me but i think he said it makes it alot more difficult !
95% positive anyway lol

it's a pain, you either need the number off the log book or a test certificate number. Seller might give you one or the other? :/

AK - yes you need the MOT certificate number or the document reference number from the V5 to check if it has a valid MOT online. |

you may find that it could be on the dvla database anyways....ask your mot tester as they should be able to go on the reg number....i know we can
