picked up my new rims today, fab ebay bargains!! I'm undecided as whether too leave as is(shadowcrome and a bit bling) or retro-ise them with a painted silver rim and dark centres. oh, and they need taller tyres as the 205/40/17,s are about an inch smaller in diameter than the standard 14,s

I like them! I think you can get away with shadowchrome on a car that colour. Needs to be introduced to "The stick" though

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I'd leave them as they are, they suit the colour of the car. They might look a bit mahooosive with bigger section tyres tho, unless you are wanting to keep the speedo reading accurate. Oh, and the stick, yes.

That looks pukka! Colour carries off the shadowchrome well IMO Bet the ride is nice n harsh with 40 profiles, but does mean you can slam it nicely. Looking mucho cool!

Top purchase! I think the black centre look is definitely worth a try, especially with that deep dish design. I won't mention the lowering as everyone else already has!
