Firstly no doubt this has been covered before so apologies for that.
I've read and heard a few things about people doing their cars with rustoleum using a roller and I think its something I want to try.I sprayed the front end of mine not long ago with rattle cans and it didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped(and it cost a bloody fortune to).
I've been on rustoleum sites and there's so many different types, what is the best one I should get?I'm keeping the car the same colour so should just need a quick rub down.
Any advise from past experiences would be appreciated.Thanks.

I have sprayed pastel green rustoleum thinned 50% with white spirits through an electric earlex hvlp spray station. Came out very very well indeed, good shine straight out the gun, any less than 50% white spirit and it came out too thick and 'orange peely'
rustoleum was £30 white spirits was £4 earlex spray gun £40
cheapest respray ever I think, and now i've got the sprayer - i'm doing my new van soon in baby blue.
give it a go, cant complain and only took a couple hours start to finish to do a full van, took about 4 days to fully cure, but touch dry aftr a few hours.
The rustoleum 'combi colour' is the stuff you want.

if you want a manufacturer colour how to you find the ral number so you can order it from thier range??
ie ford monza/electric blue (1970-74)

any less than 50% white spirit and it came out too thick and 'orange peely' I found the same when rollering it, it took more coats but it's a doddle to sand down and dries really quick

Also, be careful if you are likely to re-paint it again, it seems Rusto will react with cellulose thinners...
Good luck, thining and sanding seem to be key for the roller jobs!
