Right dudes, i am gearing up to sell one of my e30's the one that has been the bain of my existance, ever since owning it. i have a guy interested in it as a track car.. but only through me telling him about it.. he hasnt seen it yet. so today i went to give it a clean in preparation for getting some photos for the guy. but in doing so i realised the paintwork is in a pretty crappy state at the moment..so what do i do?
i'll tell you about the paint first. its a rattle canned black paint job, not your usual satin black though. done in a really nice gloss black. no lacquer though. and in places it has started to chip off (from my parents using the car as some sort of table or something..
the paint just looks dull and lifeless. and obiviously if the guy sees a photo of it like that hes not going to be willing to travel half the country to come view it in person. which is understandable. so i need to make it look presentable.
but with no lacquer i assume the usual route of T-cut like mad , would just end up with no black paint left on the car... so what do do i do? i am rubbish at cleaning cars and making paint look good at the best of times. so i am going to need all the advice i can get.
thanks.
