Nice one Any idea how it is for space in the engine bay. How will the engine be mounted are you using the standard zetec mount positions or you mounting it on the sides. I don't think I have looked under the bonnet of a fwd car with one of those engines do they sit straight or on a slant.

It`ll be tight but it will fit Engine will be side mounted, but mounted Via World cup type bushes to the Chassis legs rather than the Crossmember I may need to reshape the crossmember slightly to clear the sump, not sure yet untill I get it in place I hope not but Chassis mounting the engine seemed like by far the best option In the donor it sits like this: Its going on a new bellhousing to a Type9 box ;D

I will have loads of questions for this installation I am sure.
Is the charger sitting where the power steering used to be. If so how, much horse power does that kind of charger take to run at full load. That looks like a sprung tensioner, is that strong enough to stop the belt from slipping on the charger.
Might sound like daft questions but its really just for a few things I am considering for the future.

It is roughly in the same place as the power steering pump used to be, its a Cooper S Eaton M45 and on this I`ll be running it around 10,500 rpm which is right in its Maximum efficiency zone, I have the graphs at work but from memory its about 12hp at those revs. Tesioners are fine normally, we ran one on a Jag V6 with a single 6rib FEAD belt and an M62 charger, that had Pas, AC, Alternator, waterpump, supercharger etc all run from a single belt, we did run 65lb belt tension on that one though Its more about getting the wrap than anything ;D Are you thinking of doing the same thing then ? Do you want some Brackets making at the same time ?

Always like to do the groundwork well in advance though
