Ok I've been trawling the inter web type thing and cant find any pics or answers, so I'm turning to you guys again. Does anybody know if the 1256 chevette exhaust is the same as the viva hc 1256 one, i know the engines are the same but thats as much as i know. Reason is i can buy a new sports exhaust for a chevette but not a viva. any info much appreciated.

would be a similar layout just need a few adaptions i would say . if its an ashley one it would need adapting to fit the car it was made for anyway so i wouldn't worry to much about fit ;D

I have a few bits of stainless tube and a couple of quad race cans in the shed, so i might have a play this weekend. I cant make it any worse than whats on there at the mo thats for sure.

Apart from the flange on the front pipe sharing the same gasket , they're different.
They look sort of similarish but a Chevette system isn't going to fit a Viva without a bit of hacking . .

ok thanks, If it don't bolt straight on then I'm gonna make my own. Time to make the pipe bender pay for itself.

Pipe bender will crush the tube unless it's a proper job for exhausts?

its a hydraulic one for thin wall tube, but I'm still gonna fill the tube with sand just in case.
