Norfolk's good for old car/tat spotting, despite price of scrap there's lots still sitting about. Odd stuff I saw on the way to a nearby survey the other day. Old WWII buildings like this often hide something interesting...... Selection of 80's bilge. MkII Tranny, with parcel-carrying LWB but single rear wheel style body. I like these Integras, we'll be wondering where they've all gone very soon. Strange yellow van thing hiding at the back, couldn't work it out. Something for Samyboy and other tractor fans, several County/Doe/Roadless type 4wd conversions here. And this is the rather uninspiring barn I went to survey. Starlet probably not what most surveyors would use, but it continues to do an excellent job (and 35mpg makes me happy).

Winner! Starlet RWD country road action FTW A bit different from the mean streets of Sheffield. Sadly I lack the skills to have tail hanging out round every bend. Batteries died before I could snap the Humber Hawk, electric milk floats and Bug sitting in another yard, and there's stacks more I see regularly. If I can ever combine leaving for work early with having the camera I'll take some more.

Although I found a proper country road about a mile from Autohausdolby towers with 3 humpbacks in quick succession (sp?) while testing the new Polo the other night for proper fake rally slag action ;D

Is that yellow thing a UMM? Good idea. Quick googling suggested not though, bonnet looks more slopy on them. Some relatively modern ones here..... cc.oulu.fi/~thu/LC/Photos/UMM/Spot the obligatory COToW on this site, posing as a fire engine of some sort.

Never dismiss any trip out as offering no retro-spotting potential. Found this when visiting a house in the next village holding a plant sale in aid of my daughter's playgroup..... Ex-USA Fiat 124 Spider. Restored some years ago, sadly been stashed away for the last five. Owner had only just got it out now his kids a bit older. Didn't realise they were 2+2, so with some belts in the back it'll be a good family toy. Nice wheels, on it when the car was imported.

Snapped a few more things today, to follow later/tonight. In the meantime I thought this was rather special, pretty easy to guess isn't it?

105E van (not a 105 then is it I don't think but you know what I mean ) Yup, a Thames 5cwt is what the badge says. Very, very clean - only 25k and one owner 1965-90, then stored at local garage since.

how clean is the anglebox!!!!!!!!!!! worth a fortune in that condition!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 rustbuckets go into 4 figures!! Had an interesting chat with the guy in the showroom where it's stored. Original owner really only used it for dogs, not business, and he obviously looked after it. It's not for sale. They've had an offer of £5000 for it before. Also don't want it to be used for TV work for fear of damage. Been off the road since 1990, but they've got plans to recommission it (tyres and brakes mainly) for promo work. Edit: Apparently these things were often sold in primer only, hence patchy paintwork isn't a bad repair but has probably been there from new. Anyway, certainly not what you expect to find in a garage like this. Bloke admitted newer cars basically rubbish.
