Hi, I was looking for the advertised subject about Mike Skinners new Roller on the PC forum, any one know where it is, maybe i'm going blind! Also I cant find any pictures of it apart from this tiddly thing! If nothing shows up i'll have to take a picture of a roadside ad. So what do you's make of it from what you've seen? Someone here had an early scoop didn't they? I'm not mad on his more recent music productions, but I like the roller apart from the big 'RR' but that goes with the slightly ironic image of it i think.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I went to a gig during the second album, it was a bit scary and it was a cocky performance, interestingly i heard a band covering the new song though which was quite good.
Back on cars. damn, theres no pictures anywhere!

I think it rocks. Who posted a spy shot of it undergoing modding? I like Mike Skinner too. Superb lyricist, and one of the best British musicians for a long time. More pics would be great

The new Streets album is CACK. And I really liked the last two. Anyway, this what you're all looking for? He claims on his message board the reason he's sold it is because it's very, very rusty...

It was Stuy who posted those pics Stuy, where are you, we need more pics I'm luking ;D and keeping an eye on you guys but mostly busy with doing instead of talking for a change. The shortage of pics is due to me not having a camera with me when the Roller was back from being painted and then it went for the photo shoot and now it's at the trimmers having a complete custom one off interior made for it. Interestingly the photo shoot was done without any interior at all, my mate Chris from Warrior motorsport took it down to a park in London near Mr Skinners old school and a load of school kids all had thier pics taken with said Roller and the man himself. My mate has the exact same picture as the album cover but with him stood next to Mike pinned up at Warrior. I'll get some pics from him and get some up for you all. Just for now this is Warriors old Demo car for those of you that haven't seen it before. The next two are being built now and should be ready for the summer (Nissan Cedric & 1949 Pontiac)

I don't like the wheels but the rest is tops! Maybe he should have put those delightful Pimpstar or whatever they were called screen wheels on.

Good stuff, I now think the wheels are too big, but for the purpose, no they're not, but it cant be far off a donk or whatever they're called if tey got any bigger!

Just to clarify the thinking behind the jag....the idea was raised and this was the reply ".Theres absolutly no way on earth you can get 22" wheels on a jag"......"Oh yes you can and you can have it low and you can still drive it everyday" Please also remember it was made as a demo car to show what can be done with a bit of "thinking outside the box on vehicle choice" but still being something that potential customers can relate to ie most Saxo owners know what a standard jag looks like so can appreciate the work that went into it and will go to Warrior to have their big wheels fitted and body kits fettled etc etc

I don't like the wheels but the rest is tops! Maybe he should have put those delightful Pimpstar or whatever they were called screen wheels on. The wheels had to be a very solid style as pretty much every wheel manufacture that was approached would not even consider making wheels that size for a Rolls Royce because of the huge weight and loads involved, also they look the nuts in the flesh Also they're well up in the arches to avoid any unwanted donkiness ;D

Anythings possible we know that. Its upto the jag man to prove that to his punters. skinners Roller looks good in the build up pics, don't know why, build up pics are ace, so much possible at that stage i suppose and exciting. looks super smooth now though.
There was Focus outside xtreme wheels with 20's on the front and 22's on the back. We've seen donk i know, but where will it all end?
