There's a set of Revolution 4 spokes on eBay at the moment - but they're a different PCD. A friend linked them to me, saying that the PCD is only 1/16th of an inch different - but in my mind that's 1.5875 millimeters too much difference and it wouldn't be safe/usable. Anyone had experience with this? cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4633401025These are the wheels

Some will say it's fine.
Others will say it's certain death.
I say give it a go, take it for a rag up & down somewhere with lots of space around you.... if it feels like they are wobbly or might make a bid for freedom, take them off and put the idea to bed...

There's no way using 4" pcd wheels on a 3.75" will work. There's debate about the 100mm/4" pcd wheels being interchangeable, with a lot of evidence saying they're not, but Midget wheels on a Dolomite isn't even worth debating - it's a no-go I'm afraid.

Good, that's not a problem - like I thought it wouldn't be sensible anyway. Thanks very much!

I think you may get away with it!
If you can get them to fit they will be safe as revolutions use a straight shank type nut as oppose to a tapered seat. Whether they will fit depends on how much clearance there is beween the shank of the nut and the hole in the wheel. If theres over 0.75mm clearance on each nut then in theory they should fit!
If there isnt enough clearance they you could enlarge the holes in the wheels slightly or even turn a bit off the shank of the bolt!
Whatever happens it should be as safe as any wheel that uses straight shanked nuts.

A friend linked them to me... Yes, remind me never to link you to thinks I intend to bid on again... In my mind that's 1.5875 millimeters too much difference and it wouldn't be safe/usable. As opposed to the 1/16" difference I mentioned?

don't DO IT!!!!!!
Studs are designed to stretch longways (along the length) If you use the wrong pcd, you are applying stress sideways (across the diameter) and the studs WILL sheer. I was that soldier.

Ah, Midgets are 4" PCD? Memory is obviously failing, as I thought they were 3 13/16"!

4" pcd wheels on a 3.75" pcd hub is surely 1/8" difference for each stud.
1/4 difference over the diameter so 1/8 on the radius.

If the pcd is within 2mm difference you can use wobble bolts.

I believe you can get offset studs too. I heard it mentioned somewhere else so it might not be fact but it sounded feasible

One thing that hasn't been mentioned, is are the wheels hub centric for your car? I'd avoid most of these ideas if the aren't.
