Hi guys, Its been ages since Ive been on here and thought I'd better post some more up-todate pics of my car as its changed a lot since I first joined up and it was a standard car with a powerful 1.3! (powerful..yeah right). Since then its been fully stripped, restored and modified into what it is today. rough spec: Current engine spec is 1700 xflow, 1300 pistons, kent 244 camshaft, stage 2 head, lightened balanced bottom end, lightened flywheel, weber twin 40s....and a few other bits. It measured 128bhp at the wheels on Bogg Brothers rolling road in July Interior is standard apart from a RS steering wheel and a omex shift light. Exterior is completely standard other than the 6.25x13 banded steels. suspension lowered 2 inches all round. de-cambered leafs. anti dive. polybushed. Limited slip diff, anti tramp bars, panhard rod...and other car I cant remember ;D Anyway less talk more pics!

thanks guys! I wanted it to look as standard as possible but have some poke! I must of achieved it cos I had one guy tell me a 1.3 escort shouldnt idle that lumpy and he was adamant there was something wrong....til he saw the engine

thanks guys! Ive just realised the boot carpet is missing in that pic which Ive now put back in.
I used to love my old 1.3 engine. Made a healthy 62bhp at the wheels on Bogg Brothers rollers but it was getting tired.
The 1700xflow is putting out 128bhp at the wheels on Boggs rollers again

Looks to be in superb condition and just dig those banded steels. Love the sleeper looks, less is more as they say. Top marks for a great car.
