Hi ya
just got my g40 polo back after the engine conversion, had it running fine, with the bits from engine from the start. ie lead sensors etc etc.....
got it back home, and changed the leads and plugs to my w4dpo's and my nology leads, also fitted new blue cts and co pot.
It had a boost leak from the brv but sorted that now.
When i changed the leads i accidently put them in the wrong firing order, on starting the engine the car just struggled to idle and starting popping/back firing out the exhaust. changed the leads back to normal and corrected the firing order. engine started first time, but now struggles to idle, the engine shakes like mad and runs rough as though 3 cylinders.
put some driffent leads on again, and changed the plugs back to original ones, put all the original sensors back in and the same still runs rough as a dog.
I'm abit stumped now as ive put back to as it was checked everything and cant seem to see what causing it. Would the original backfiring from putting the leads in the wring order caused anything?
Any ideas
