I'm seriously thinking of getting that Polo as a runaround, and then give it to my fiancee when she passes her test. Ideal car for Guernsey really...

You don't want to sell me the axle do you? ;D Hi mate, It is going to get hot rodded, the body taken off and sold on or scrapped and a hot rod body of some description will be fitted, not sure on the style yet. I will be keeping the rear axle as it is a good strong one, hopefully putting a V8 up front, although with petrol prices I may go the Zetec route. Cheers, Stu.

Just bought myself a scimitar, and I know it's going to need the usual bits of steel replacing, and by the sounds of it, he's done the repairs already! If I had some way of moving it, and somewhere to store it, I'd happily chuck some pennies your way for the shell balls
