Just booked into this...31st october, North Weald airfield (near Harlow/Chelmsford etc)... looks like a relaxed fun bit of timed thrashing between cones, small, middle and large circuit I think..never been before but even the website says "enthusiastic driving encouraged".....massive run off so no damage to the car should it all go a bit wrong!...which it inevitably will:) All other cars booked at the moment are Vauxhall VX220s..so I don't think I'll be challenging any times set by them!!!..(unless its in a straight line;)) Any takers? www.carlimits.com/script/viewVenue.php?venueKey=5 |

Are there any restrictions on what sort of car you can turn up in? Not as far as I know..there's a number on their site if you want to check....... I would asume as long as it looks safe it would be OK...... the last one had everything from Audi A8 (the sportscar thingy), S2000 powered MK1 Cortina...Mk2 escorts...standard Puma....KA with RWD VW Turbo power...kitcars etc.... Most of the 31st Oct looks like Vauxhall VX220s. Cheers Dave |

That sounds like fun. If possible, I would want to bring my E36 320i saloon, hence my question.

Damn, this would be perfect for me, it's only an hour or so away, but it's my Dad's 70th Birthday Party  Definitely up for the next one though, that's a fantastic price  |
