1984 Rover SD1 2300 Manual, no sunroof model. Yes, 43K from new! No paperwork but you just have to look at the car to tell that it's correct!!
MOT'd and taxed, drive away.
As with all SD1's it has some crusty bits but none are at all major, just cosmetic. They weren't even advisories on the MOT.
It's had 4 new tyres, brake master and slave cylinder seals, new headlining, new fuel pump, sender and relay, all electrics work apart from one door which doesn't always lock (new lock motor thrown in). Power steering, windows, central locking, wood cappings on the doors, blue velour upholstery, rear seatbelts! Slice of luxury!
Really good oil pressure.
For this price you're not getting the CD player.

It's a rare 2300 manual with no sunroof - sought after!
Took it out last week and everything was working fine, but it seemed to have a bit of a carb problem - bit hesitant with acceleration and lacking in torque, I think the carbs need balancing. It's fine on the motorway/A roads but not brilliant around town.
BATTERY NOW DEAD, DIGITAL CLOCK DRAINED IT - BRING JUMP LEADS/BOOSTER PACK
This is still a 26 year old car and has minor crusty bits in places, and the odd scratch here and there - would make a really good daily driver!
