Hi guys, we have the Prelude on Ebay at the moment but the first person on RR to come and give us £1000 drives her home!

"The Prelude really looks the part, it has 4 brand new alloy wheels and tyres that were only fitted approximately 5 months ago and (bar one slight nick on one of the alloys) are absolutely mint. They are a 'gunmetal' colour that when the sunlight hits them almost look like 'black chrome', they really set the car apart and fill the arches perfectly. You don't see that many 5th Gen Preludes about so it feels like a special car to drive anyway, but when you do see one, its nice to know that this one looks better on these awesome wheels!!
It only has 2 previous owners and has been well looked after throughout its life. It has full service history with it, the first 36,400 miles being dealt with by the Honda of Nantwich and the remainder by Honda of two Mills. The very last service was carried out by myself on the 23/04/10 (also listed below)

We have also very recently had a new cambelt fitted for piece of mind. Shortly after this a rear wheel bearing was replaced and it recieved a brand new handbrake cable.
The Prelude starts on the button and is a joy to drive, the new wider tyres really grip well and you can feel the sporting underpinnings as you take corners. She is used every day and for any long journeys we need to go on, we always jump in the Prelude.
The heater is absolutely fantastic with the operating temperature being reached from cold within minutes and the heater vents blasting really hot air almost instantly. Such is the quality of the heating system, that when we were all hit by the 'big freeze' last year, the screen would demist and the ice melt incredibly fast and the interior was nice and cosy within minutes!! The air-con is also icy cold for the summer months and the electric power sunroof works a treat so it really is a superb car in any season - it just doesn't have a bed in it which is why she has to go!
The interior is in excellent condition and seats comfortable and firm. The top of the steering wheel is ever so slightly worn with age but unnoticeable really. It has central locking which works on the keyfob perfectly and dimming interior lights, the heater controls are electric and operate quietly and smoothly. The gearchange is light and positive and the clutch feels very healthy too. The electric windows work as does the 'auto-down' feature but the passenger window is ever so slightly slower to go down (a common trait due simply to not being used as much as the drivers window)
The paint is overall in excellent condition and has been regularly polished with 'Bilt-Hamber carnuaba wax' to maximise protection and give it a deep lustre. It must have received at least 4 full coats in the last 3 months!! With this said there are a few age related marks around the car, the front bumper is quite stone chipped from motorway use and there are a couple of small chips on the leading edge of the bonnet. The doors have a couple of small marks from careless fools doors in car-parks but as you can see in the pictures nothing bad at all - I'm just painting a clear picture and being as honest as I can!
With it being the slightly smaller 2.0 engine it can achieve good mpg regularly 35+ around town and more on a run and its no slouch either! With 133 BHP on tap she really moves when asked!
It has plenty of road tax well into next year and a couple of months MOT left, after a good look all around it I really can't see any areas that it may fail on, although obviously not a guarantee, I would expect it to fly though its next MOT.
All in all its a very well looked after Prelude that has been loved and cherished by all its owners."
