Welcome to RR. That looks a nice original example, very clean for the year/mileage. Can you get some more pics up of the interior and some better shots of the outside?

Rare old beast that.
Looks nice and its great to see it still doing daily driver duties, hopefully you have fully rust proofed her as they love to rust.
Also looks better on the smaller bumpers as some UK cars came with massive US spec style versions.

Excuse me my stupidity but is this a US version or something? Never seen an Audi 80 Estate before, I thought they were all called Passat Variant in Europe? Nevertheless, a very cool car, like it a lot ;D

Excuse me my stupidity but is this a US version or something? Never seen an Audi 80 Estate before, I thought they were all called Passat Variant in Europe? Nevertheless, a very cool car, like it a lot ;D well, the Audi estate is based on the Mk.I Passat and was sold only in the states and the UK; a lot of those in the UK have the US bumpers for some reason . from 77 onwards they have the faclift headlamps, grill, fenders and bumpers from the facelift Audi 80. Rian had one very nice example, which is now owned by Foxy from Classic Audi (i hope it still is). An extremely rare car, another one was sold recently on UK ebay which went to germany and is now a member on the Mk.I/II Passat board ... if you have any questions or need parts , let me know, i have another Passat estate currently in the workshop, which i am restoring now for 3 years .... it is almost as good as yours ...

I used to have one too. Lovely car, sold to Coxy, who will show it as a concourse car soon, I am sure.

IIRC, the US version was called the "Audi Fox"? So UK may be the only place where it was sold as an "Audi 80 estate"?

Sold mine about 2 weeks ago to another chap off the classic audi forum.
A brown one was recently sold on ebay and a very low mileage turquoise one was recently fouind stashed away amongst a small collection in Manchester about a month ago by a good friend of mine.
Feel free to pop over to Classic Audi and show yer face, they'd be very interested in this!
Is it a pre facelift one (round headlights??)
