They've been mentioned a few times before, the Suzuki Cappuccino! One day I really fancy one of them to add to the fleet. 660cc 3 Cylinder turbo engine, RWD, lovely stuff. Comes in two flavours, early type with F6A engine and later type with K6A engine. Both 660cc 3 cyl turbos though as I say. But why have I opened up an all new topic to bang on about the Cappuccino?! The answer is this new development a company has made for the later type K6A engine (sorry it's in Japanese, look at the pics then read on, also ignore the odd choice of car they've dropped the engine into) - www.kc-technica.com/democar/twin/tw200.htmlThis company has just developed a TWIN TURBO system for the 660cc Suzuki K6A engine. Can you even begin to imagine how MAD that is?! TWO TURBOS. GOOD GOD. Isn't for sale yet but should be in the near-future, how long before they start making ones for Daihatsu engines?! First/only twin turbo Daihatsu Mira in UK?! OH YES I THINK SO!! Just thought I'd mention it because it absolutely blew my mind, unbelievable!

Future retro for sure. And the Honda Beat. And that little Daihatsu number (can't remember what it's called0 I reckon I'd look a bit of a clown in one though, as I'm a bit long of limb... my gf says I look all squashed when I'm driving her Golf, so christ knows what I'd look like squeezed into a Cappucino! ;D

Ta Lewis, I'll have you know them tiny graphs are quite accurate too. As stock they produce the maximum Kei-car performance of 64hp (both early F6A and later K6A engines) but the K6A has more torque. But with a twin turbo kit, they probably produce something in the triple figures with no other mods! I've read about ones in Japan tuned up to about 150hp on the standard engine which isn't bad for 660cc, usually they just improve the breathing (filter/exhaust), increase the fuelling, boost up slightly and away you go. Suzuki Sport also supply loads of official tuning parts for it to the public, proper race stuff. They look lovely with a bit of suspension drop and the right wheels, don't they. Really fancy a set of those on the TR-XX, any thoughts?

Oh yeah as for size, in pictures Keis always look quite big unless there's a "normal" size car or a person in it/standing next to it!! For example this pic from www.ianhardy.net (tons of ace rally pics, check it out) always makes me smile - And look at this massive bike! Bonus Cappuccino engine noise MP3!! www5.famille.ne.jp/~skinski/sound-c-engine1.MP3Ooh and bolt on arches and deep dish Watanabes one!!

I love these I think they are awesome. And while the figures may look small you look at that power to capacity figure and realise the tuning on these things is awesome.

I love kei cars, the cappucino looks best with a hard top and rivet on arches. This one has in the reigon of 120bhp Daihatsu move with some serious mods Mistubishi dangan - 20 valve turbo 550cc! And my favorites of all, the mazda az 550 in a b and c incarnations This is the 'b' model This is the 'c' model J
