Looks like they rubbed more paint off, then opened the windows to let the smell out.

we got the bug (for £50!) on the understanding she didnt get broken or messed with, so we did the best job we could on her. unfortunately when we had finished the chap was ill and had gone blind so couldnt see her finished.

we sent him the full resto pics, his wife described how she looks now to him in hospital. she said it brought a tear to her eye to see how much we have done to a car she loves dearly. makes all the money and hard work seem so much more worth it when it is done for a true purpose

Amazingly there was one of these dumped on some waste ground just up the road from me, though in exactly the opposite condition this one is in - problem was it belong to a fearsome bunch of pikes and I wasent going near them.
