Well its been a fun couple of days, so here is my story.
It all started out about a week ago. Basically I came to the GT and noticed a Small amount of Oil on the floor, around the drivers side wheel. After checking over the car I noticed it was the Dampers (Easy job to sort).
However the oil that had been leaking had caused some play in the wish bone rubbers, so I thought to hell with it lets re-build the whole front axle, (please note this front axle was only re-built 2 years ago) but with a difference......
(not much of a difference just these)
Proflex race/track spec Bush Kit
And uprated front Shockers, (30% stiffer than originals)
Removal Pic 1
does not look too bad but the Damper is defo buggered, Check out My dad helping out wearing some highly fashionable bright orange overalls LOL
With all the Front Off side suspension removed
Parts on the back of the TR6 ready for cleaning up
Wishbone drying off (using next doors fence of course, don't want to get paint on mine)
And the finished product, All painted up and uprated, tomorrow is the day to try it all out ;D
The passenger side was also done at the same time, as well as an overhaul of the steering rack, and Anti roll bar....
Shameless pic of the Jacked up front and ;D
