Proper Street Machine British tin! Yup! Saved the best 'til last? You tell me... I remember drooling over a stock one of these as a potential project when I was a yoof. You can guarantee it wouldn't have looked this hard if I did it. But this was my exact plan! hi-po Herald He's not got a tumble dryer in there has he? Hardcore 105E OOOF! Detail... even the tools are colour coded to the car. Or the other way around. last one. I Love it. Shame I didn't see this run. I love PC series Vauxhalls. You know who history on wheels. Ford arses I *will* own a Farina one day this one is nice nice as pie Mighty Morris Wellard Jeff's Wolesley was on its first proper trip out. Murals are in. as are scoops OCD level of neatness with the tube bender. mid 13s I think. neat. wheelie bars probably not needed as of yet... Koppa Kambridge I think this got crashed and rebuilt. Looks ace. Neat Mk1 Another neat Mk1.... And another neat Mk1... More 105E madness. Cool. This XJ6 just plain rocks cute Dorset very kandy This 'tina was on eBay at £7K. Has AMC V8 in it. Sleeper. 80s Street Machine reader's rides. Mk1 in action Mini with something naughty in it. I'm thinking rear mounted Ford CVH Turbo - anyone know? Consul taking in washing Simples take on a Hillman Henry again Didn't see this run or this but it usually gives a good account of itself this seems familiar but I don't recall seeing it before. This is always at Shakey. Nice Devon x2 Matt mk1 to finish up on. DONE!

Yeah that blue mini is running a cosworth turbo YB lump. Built by a company called cyclone motorsport. Front engine RWD, Awsome mini, although the turbo lag is quite something.

I'm guessing the reverse scoop on the Jag is a combo of
1. Aero 2. Drawing low pressure air from the screen area 3. Making it look "WTF"

Didn't see this run Shame. John Atkinson normally races in SuperPro ET and runs 8s. He also does quite good burnouts.

This has got 8 or 9 second road car potential iirc, was reading the garage scene feature in street machine other day lol. Dodge big block iirc he was at Leeds cruise That looks familiar to me too. Is it the one that used to run with a similar coloured body (maybe a tad darker) and a white roof? Can't remember the guys name. Matt

That's Martin Green's car. There is another with a white roof still racing and it's a name I remember from the mags 20 odd years ago, but escapes me too at the moment.

The blue 100e is owned by a member of the HRG challenge. Embaraced to say his name now evades me but he and his wife are brilliant people and his lip warmer is pure emmerdale ;D.
Must be upping power looking at some recent mod's in that pic.

Matt I think the Mk2 consul was originally built at Streatham Crash Repairs in the mid 80s by Pete [second name escapes me] had a wade supercharged 3.0V6 with the blower being offset and poking thru the bonnet, SCR was the same place that Steve Bradshaws superb supercharged SBC Mk1 cortina was built, Pete was the Body/ man and Steve was the Painter, SCR was never short of inspiration as they shared the same yard as a certain Eddie Wimble ;D The consul then passed on to Steve Dowler who put a 502 bbc in it, dunno where it went from there, The Mk2 Cortina, did not as well as expected clocking off a mid 17!!!! and that Cresta----OOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
