I need some wheel nuts turning down to fit inside my 20mm adaptors. They look like this:

As they are, they stand 15mm proud of the adaptor![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
And they need 5mm off the top (easy done with a grinder) but they'll also need 11mm off the bottom, and obviously it needs to be done on a taper.
This'll leave about 5mm of the hex socket at the top, and 10mm of m12x1.5 thread to go onto the stud.
Like the vacuum forming I needed last time, If I was 14 I could do it at school myself, but that was a decade ago and I don't think I could just wander in at dinnertime and have a go on the lathe whilst eating my cheese sandwhich like the good old days.
Anyone got a lathe who fancies doing it? There's beer tokens or wiring favours in it, but I can't pay loads!
