No. WAKE UP. The 206 is gash! Step AWAY from the 206. Just try counting backwards in your head "12,000, 11,000, 10,000...that's the depreciation happening to your little black number as it slides out of the showroom! Failing that go and looik at pictures of 205 GTi's for an afternoon. The only decent looking Pugs are those that Pininfarina knocked out for them (and yes he DID do mine!)
At least the megane has the good grace to actually be hard as nails. Black wheels on blue body, nice.

Chuffing Nora, Rob....
have you gone bonkers? That 206 is clearly SHAT. Ok, it WILL probably help you to score more with brainless, slack-jawed 17-year old lasses with vague ambition to be 'famous'.... well more than trying to impress them with an old skoda (believe me. I speak from experience). But you are teetering on the edge of losing all respect from your fellow retro men (& women)....
Sort it out.
I will confess at this juncture that i think the 'aygo' thingy is nifty in terms of the way it's built / marketed, but that's the sole redemption you're gonna get from me.

I ust liked te way they so clearly knew what they were doing from the outset.. sure it's built down to a price, but also shows that cheap doesn't have to mean nasty..... Vauxhall Corsa take note!!!!

I love the way my generation seem to think
"what can I do to make my car stand out?"
"Ohh I know, I can change the rear lights and look like every other tit on finance with a generic euro-box"
I must think different, I spend less on a car then they do the tat they stick on..

it does look quite poo in the pics...and i admit it is totally curse word since it only has a 1.4. i think it is more than the 206 is such a good shape and that body kit really does look good imo...i'm a long term fan of a 206 GTi 180.

205 206 We had a 206 1.4 Sport (and I used the term 'sport' very loosely) at work as a pool car and it was awful, I couldn't drive the bloody thing as one foot would press all pedals at once and you could feel some part of the steering column UJ hitting your toes in the footwell as you turned the wheel! I've driven others too and they are all the same. As for the 'sport' tag, hmm... not very. £12k = nice Pug 205 GTI, Mi16 coversion and about £8k for spare tyres! ;D

Not sure I'm keen on the 'Shadow' 206 there, the bodykit, the quad lamps, lexus taillamps etc, aren't really my thing, I will say that for a modern the car the stanard 206 isn't too bad though, I have a friend with a more basic one and it's not too bad, the GTi 180 would probably be quite nice as far as modern cars go. I will agree that the pedals and steering wheel area are slightly cramped for a reasonably tall guy (and I'm not even that tall, about 5' 9" I think), but to be honest I'm used to that because Imps have a similar slight drawback, but it's not too bad, it's manageable because Mike Parkes was a very tall guy for the 60s, and the cabin of the Imp was designed in such a way that an adult of any kind can get comfortable in the front. Incidentally Rob, this is a 960 post facelift model you'll notice, the early 960 had the same front as the 940 and later 760, whearas that front's unique. Bloody cool motors actually, I have a long wheelbase, four seater model, bloody great old cars and worth practically nothing these days, you could have a SWB one like that for £2K.

It's a straight six, I suspect that one might be a 2500cc, but the bigger engine like the one in mine is a 2900cc one, the power output is around 204bhp but it's faster than you might think for a heavy car, the torque output must be quite good. And you didn't get off with it that easy, we still remember your bodykit fetish! ;D
