That's the coolest thing I've seen in years. A little work to smooth/tidy the back bumper, and I'd even keep the twin headlamps! Just needs some Stick, and a set of gas burners

Ooh no! It's a 1303... ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Didn't Wizard Roadsters do a van kit (that kit?), or was it just the roadster and Willys coupe?

Love the quad light kit , they are pretty rare ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) A little bit of work and that could be great ;D I thought the Beetle van kits were originally made by UVA and called the 'Shogun' or something ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) Maybe wizard bought the moulds or made a similar kit or maybe I'm just completely wrong ! The Wizard windjammer was another unusual one which rarely pops up on the radar ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

That's a UVA kit. The Wizard one was really narrow at the back and used standard rear wings. It always looked a bit odd to me. The UVA van has a lot better proportions but some dodgy details.

I can remember reading a garage scene feature in an early 90s street machine where somebody was building a lovely beetle van in steel. Wonder what happened to it.

Spot on, Wizard did a similar kit but that's a UVA. not my cup of tea but it's a bit different. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Been thinking about this. Id like to see it with baja spec running gear, and full-on drug-induced 70's custon freaky paint. Hmmmmmmmmm yes!
