Kudos to you for saving it. Those are very very rare cars, I saw it on eBay and was THIS close to bidding until I woke up and realized that trying to restore an intact PA in this country is hard enough, that car would be a nightmare to try and restore over here (Looks like I am paying £33 to ship some PA wheeltrims over as an example!) I'm flying over to Billing next year, if business goes well enough I might even bring my PA, I would love to see that car there. Hi rld. When you say PA do you mean a Vauxhall Cresta PA? They had those in the USA?

You mean my Royale ones look excellent? I hope the MoT guy agrees as its going in next week! I mean they look a lot better than most Nice job done on your own rear end Did you replace the wheel bearings when it was out? Yep - I have a puller if you need one but to be honest my advice is to avoid doing it if you can - it's bloody expensive - the bearings are hard to get and can't be removed without damage. Ahh best I go have a view of that

They had those in the USA? Yes and no PAs were never sold in the USA (Only F and a SMALL handful of FB Victors were) but they were sold in Canada, which is where my 60 and 62 came from. Both of mine are actually Veloxes, unlike the UK, most Canadian cars were not Crestas. Both of mine are LHD export models.

Doh......I just realised you put the car dets in your signature but that's still very interesting. Do you have a thread on this forum about them? I love the old Crestas. Especially the PC. I just trealised we've hijacked this thread too
