I saw this and I thought of you...

Later model Nissan Cedric 3.0 on eBay right now, £900 start and no reserve. In some respects that’s a lot of dosh for a ’91 car, but golly blimey he’s got £2995 on the windscreen.... Yeah, it’s a “specialist” car, and they defy the norms of pricing, I mean, you’d not think of asking £2995 for a ’91 Jag, BMW 730 or Merc E320... But you can just about keep a straight face on a car like this. Not so long ago a local dealer had a ’92 or so Mazda Cosmo on his forecourt for a similar sum, in fact I believe it was £3495. On one hand that’s not a lot of money for a car so technically advanced and so rare, but on the other hand you can buy an E class coupe for less than half that... See, this is all a bit of a tossup. It works the same way with stuff like Mustangs and the like too. Either way I reckon the £900 NR start is not far from where this one will end, and it seems a decent thing to be buying for that money.
See, this is a rare car in the UK. That has to be worth a few pennies of anyone’s cash, but this is a proper JDM VIP wanabee whip. Slam dat on some big chrome rims, maybe air ride it, lace curtains, you know you want to... Or be less predictable and just do some tweaks, lower it, nice but not huge wheels and nice rubber combo, debadge it so nobody knows what the heck it is. Even after you tell them... I’m assuming that 3.0 lump has to be the same as some performance orientated lump elsewhere, in a ZX or Skyline or something?
It looks tidy. You could roll round in this as a rock-stocker and still leave the pedestrians (and passengers) non-plussed. LPG is FTW on this size of beast.
