Picked up the Artois last night, w00t!
In even better nik than i thourght it would be, one elderly owner since new thus cut carpets in the wells and glove box etc ;D But looks mint, shiny and of all round goodness, was really suprised. Chrome looks new and no finger nail marks under door handles etc
Got it home fine, takes abit to move the old tank but when its going it moves quite well. Makes a hugeeee change from the Imp and Orion LX, full centre console, deep carpets, lumber support, all round leccy windows etc, its great! Proper 80's top spec goodness.
Kind of funny to use, using suspension thats basically mk3 Cortina and a motor from a little used 60's Mitsubishi, than violently attacked with sound deadening and 80s mod cons- great!
Anywho i'll get some pics hopefully at the weekend once I'm not so buried under coursework.
Well chuffed
